JOEL HOGAN
Born in the beautiful Australian countryside Joel is known for his intense onscreen presence; whether it's as a charming romantic lead or an irrational, ruthless villain.
After graduating from a prestigious performing arts college he was cast in Disney's High School Musical at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney. He then landed a number of big brand commercials for KFC, Toyota, Vodafone and Foxtel, to name a few.
Joel went on to study acting in New York City and played the lead in The Skin Of Our Teeth in the role Montgomery Clift originally played at The Plymouth Theatre.
Returning to Australia he worked on the feature films, Bush Boys, Calendar Girls, 1500 Steps, C.A.M and Travis Jenkins, in which he dropped his body weight to 121 lbs (54kg) to play a Methamphetamine addict in the title role.
Joel was flown to Seattle, Washington to play the lead in the post-apocalyptic thriller Paradise Lodge, after which time he moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed the lead in a Hyundai TVC and the award winning feature comedy Actor For Hire.
Joel has recently starred in Lionsgate’s Open Water 3: Cage Dive, played the lead in Chameleon (produced by Netflix exec Jillian Longnecker) and played the lead villain in China’s number one watched TV series Seven Days - alongside three of China's biggest movie stars.
